In this tab you can find all of the recent uploads. You can download the latest 5 uploads of any feed type by clicking on the “File Extension” cell’s link of that row.
It is important to pay attention to three key columns after you import your data feed: Status, Total, and Imported.
- Status: it will either be a Success, Partial Success, or Fail.
You will need to click on Status to reveal the row-by-row presentation of Validated Errors to understand errors preventing the product from a successful import.
- Total: shows how many items were processed.
- Imported: shows how many items went into our system.
The columns in the grid represent:
- Time: the date/time the feed was processed
- Status: The feed was processed successfully or the feed failed to process
- Total: how many items were processed
- Imported: out of the total items how many were processed successfully
- Inserted: how many new records were created
- Updated: how many records had their data updated
- Deleted: how many records were deleted. Only applicable when uploading a delete feed
- Warnings: opens up a pop-up with the individual items that had warning errors and what they are, but these do not prevent an item from being imported into the database.
- File Extension: CSV and TXT files are supported currently
- Source: Web or FTP represents that the feed was uploaded
Type: represents the nature of the feed used (example, if "Delete" means some products are deleted)
Exporting Validation Errors
If you receive a “partial success” or “fail” after a data upload, all of your data validation errors are available in a pop-up window by clicking on the red or yellow Status box and clicking on “export error” from the pop-up.
For easier access to this information, we have added a feature to export those validation error messages. The row-by-row explanations will help you fix your data feed to achieve that bright green box with a “success” message!
