How to Create a Parent/Child Relationship?

Adding a Parent/Child Relationship By SKU-

The purpose of this template is to help group closely related product variations together so they display correctly on the HomeRoots website and provide a better shopping experience for buyers. Proper parent/child associations allow buyers to view available variations of the same product within a single product family instead of as completely separate listings.

Parent SKU
The Parent SKU acts as a non-purchasable grouping record used to organize related product variations

Child SKU
Enter your actual purchaseable  SKU that should be associated to the parent group. 

Variation Type
Indicate what differs between the products.

 

If you wish to remove an association, simply type in remove in the type as shown below. 

*Important Step- save your promo file as a csv file. Do not enter the file into the feed as an excel file. *

Upload the completed csv file via your portal as shown below.
