- Made to Order products do not need to update inventory.
Method One- Manual Bulk Update- Upload a feed file via UI
> Click on the “Update Product Data in Bulk” Button as shown below and download a blank template by clicking “Download Inventory Template- Single Warehouse”
- If a SKU is being discontinued, then put Y in Discontinued
- If a SKU has 0 Quantity in Stock, but is continuing, then put in the ETA
- Save the excel template as a comma-delimited (.csv) file

Multiple Warehouse
If you are a supplier with inventory in multiple warehouse locations entered in your profile, you will follow the same steps as above, but your template will read “Download Inventory Template- Multi Warehouse”.
> Be sure to additionally enter the proper “Warehouse Address ID” associated with each item.
Method Two - Update of Individual Items (ideal for small inventory management or Adhoc updates for specific items)

Method Three - FTP File Transfer Automated Bulk Update (ideal for organizations looking to automate their products and inventory on HomeRoots via backend batch processes)

How To Get Started with FTP
-
Subscribe to the FTP service listed under the “Integrate” tab on your Home Roots Portal as shown above.
-
Our integrations team integrations@homeroots.co will provide you with credentials to log in and get started.
-
Download each feed you wish to integrate with—such as product, inventory, order, or shipping—and share it with your integrations or IT team. They should map your internal data fields to match the Home Roots feed structure, following standard industry practices. This one-time mapping process ensures your files align with our expected format, making the FTP integration smooth, accurate, and fully automated moving forward.
